Midnight in Paris

As you are walking the streets, admiring the quant, picturesque boutiques, alleyways and coffee shops, you stumble upon scenes that are unexpectedly familiar. Staring back at you will be the real-life inspiration for famous paintings completed over a century earlier. There are slight changes (like the automobiles parked in the streets), but the images, even down to the hue of the buildings, are virtually identical. Before Paris, I never remember having this experience when walking in a city (and especially not consistently). However, if you spend any amount of time wandering the streets, you will discover recognizable images everywhere.

While I hate to have the same, stereotypical opinion as most people, I really like Paris. Paris simply has an aura of creativity, wonder, allure and artistry. One major drawback is the distinctive stench in certain parts of the city that can leave you regretting taking your previous breath. Even with that deterrent, I’m definitely glad I went and would enjoy revisiting Paris.

Your Louvre experience awaits in Paris, France.

Da Vinci's Mona Lisa (I was not allowed to get a video of the crowd)

Another city with fantastic weather!
